How to choose an app

Choose an app because it is officially available in New Zealand, supports your device and carries the content you want. Large channel claims are less useful than clear rights, reliable apps and transparent billing.

TVNZ+

TVNZ+ provides free live channels, news, films, programmes and selected sport. It works on supported Smart TVs, mobile devices, browsers and game consoles. Selected Event Passes can require payment and follow separate rules.

ThreeNow

ThreeNow provides New Zealand entertainment and free streaming content across supported devices. Sky Open is available free-to-air and Sky states that it can also be watched through supported ThreeNow and Sky Go options. Check the current app store and programme guide.

Sky Sport Now

Sky Sport Now is a dedicated sports streaming service with live Sky Sport and ESPN channels, highlights and replays. It supports selected Smart TVs, Fire TV, Apple TV, PS5, Chromecast, mobile devices and browsers.

Sky Go

Sky Go is designed for eligible Sky customers. Sky states that up to five devices can be registered and up to two devices can stream at once in addition to the main Sky device, subject to current account rules.
